Natty Afriq is custom tailored clothing designed by Dawn McDonald. The Natty Afriq fashion line celebrates Dawn’s Guyanese culture and African ancestry with chic, contemporary designs using African fabric. Natty Afriq can be worn by anyone, for any occasion, in any season.

Dawn’s love for art has expressed itself in different forms at different points in her life. As a teenager, she was a fashion designer to her friends. She later ventured into interior design, working with many high end designers to create custom window treatments. She recently retired from a career in Software Engineering and returned to art with the launch of her Natty Afriq fashion line. Her evolving artistic productions also include accessories and multi-media wall hangings centered around the beautiful African fabric she uses in her fashion designs.

Dawn is a two-time graduate of Howard University with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science.
